Our Story
Archangel Industries was established to address a persistent gap in the petroleum measurement industry: the shortage of consultants who combine deep technical expertise with real-world field experience. Our founders spent decades working custody transfer measurement on pipelines, terminals, and production facilities across North America before launching the firm.
From the outset, our focus has been narrow and deliberate — petroleum custody measurement, done right. We don't chase every opportunity in the oil and gas sector. We go deep on measurement because that's where our expertise is sharpest and where our clients need the most support.
Today, Archangel Industries serves pipeline operators, terminal managers, and production companies who require measurement accuracy they can defend in an audit, a dispute, or a regulatory review.
Core Expertise
Liquid Custody Transfer
Turbine, PD, Coriolis, and ultrasonic meter proving for crude oil, refined products, and NGL pipelines.
Pipe Prover Technology
Small-volume and conventional pipe provers — inspection, certification, and volume determination per API MPMS Chapter 4.
Flow Computer Systems
Configuration and verification of Omni, Emerson, ABB, and other flow computers for custody transfer applications.
Measurement Uncertainty
Formal uncertainty analysis per ISO GUM methodology, supporting dispute resolution and regulatory submissions.
Equipment Troubleshooting
Field diagnosis and resolution of meter performance issues, prover malfunctions, and flow computer discrepancies across custody transfer installations.
Line Balance & Reconciliation
Investigation and resolution of measurement discrepancies between custody points, including loss analysis, unaccounted-for volume, and reconciliation reporting.
How We Work
Precision over speed
Measurement errors compound. We take the time to get it right the first time — because a wrong meter factor costs more than a careful proving run.
Independence you can trust
We have no equipment sales agenda. Our recommendations are based solely on what's right for your measurement system.
Documentation that holds up
Every engagement produces records that survive regulatory scrutiny, third-party audits, and commercial disputes.
